The Gibson J 185 Modern Classic is made with hand selected woods, finished in a beautiful vintage sunburst and is a premium acoustic guitar. It is a traditional 1950's model with Maltese cross bridge wing inlays, updated to accommodate todays most discriminating players. The J-185 has a comfortable jumbo body style, offering supreme playability, sweet timbre and huge projection. The premium Sitka spruce top on AAA flame maple back and sides produce wonderful resonance with tonal integrity. Eyecatching features of the J-185 acoustic guitar include the abalone rosette, nickel tuners, a rosewood fingerboard inlaid with mother-of-pearl parallelograms plus body and neck binding.
