The Gibson Les Paul Classic Custom is a vintage style LP with a twist, its fingerboard is made of baked maple, which has similar qualities to ebony making it snappy and warm, but it retains a more traditional medium brown colour, like pau ferro. While the fretboard is likely to make this model very collectable, the nitro lacquer finish will also make it age incredibly well - so this is definitely a guitar to hold on to. This classic custom has a beautifully vintage tone, featuring Gibson '57 Classic and 57 Classic+ pickups, the traditional mahogany back and bound carved maple top, the usual two tone/two volume knob compliment plus a chrome Tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece.

Shipped in a Gibson Deluxe Hardshell Case, the Gibson Les Paul Classic Custom is easy to keep safe when taken on the road. The baked maple gives this guitar a subtly distinctive look, and the other aesthetic appointments (such as the acrylic diamond headstock inlay, multi-ply body binding and single freboard binding. This particular LP Classic Custom is finished in Cream which gives a bright, clean look. This model certainly treads the line between tradition and innovation, with subtle developments to create a new variation of a classic, without losing its soul.
