Allman Brothers and Government Mule bass legend Allen Woody, who passed away in August 2000, was an avid collector of vintage Epiphone basses, and this signature model combines the features that Woody found best for playing in his aggressive, rumbling style.
It has a semi-hollow, single-cutaway, archtop body similar to that of Epiphone's Kat series but without f-holes. The neck is a 30" short scale for easier play. Mini-humbucking pickups in the neck and middle position deliver a warm tone.

Fantastic sounding bass from the artist Allen Woody. This bass will produce you some soft woody bass tones and a nice low end complements the static pick bass that you will no dougt want to do. The bass will play that much loved E string ostanarto and also includes dual volume and also a tone. You can adjust a pickup balance between the two mini humbuckers and the tone control dosent really get used.
