The Ibanez PM35 is a fantastic hollowbody guitar, exceptionally suited to Jazz. The deluxe appointments such as gold plated hardware, Abalone inlays, select maple and case make the guitar beautiful to look at. Along with a smooth action and warm tone, the guitar is a pleasure to play.
"It took some time, several prototypes and perseverance from all corners, but the final results are excellent. I love playing all of the various Ibanez PM models and am quite proud to be associated with them." - Pat Metheny

Amazing Value, exceptional guitar
Overall Rating Posted on 19/11/2012 by Lenny
Ibanez have created a guitar that is both beautiful to look at and to play. The sound, quality and playability is the equal of many much more expensive guitars. I own a delicious 1969 Gibson ES340, which has great tone and action but I have to say I prefer picking this one up and gigging with it. It is fantastically responsive, simple and a delight to play. The 58 is great clean and pure for jazz, and also gives a great blues and rock tone when dirtied up. I am biased - I have been a Metheny fan since 1976. By the way don't waste your time with the strings that come in the box - the guitar was designed for D'Addario XL flats.
