Construction
Basswood is the body material of choice for the ESP LTD EC 10, providing a well rounded tone with great mid range punch, perfect for distorted guitar tones. The bolt-on Maple neck is paired with a Rosewood fingerboard and 24 extra jumbo frets, a great all-round combination, which makes playability and great tone so much easier. A thin U shape is used for the neck, so newcomers to the instrument will find learning easier and quicker than on guitars with thicker neck shapes. Another great feature of the ESP LTD EC-10 Electric Guitar is the hardtail bridge, keeping your tuning stable, whilst adding to the looks of this guitar with it's Black Nickel finish. Standard ESP tuners are also used to help keep tuning solid while you're practicing and playing your first gigs!
Electronics
Two ESP LH-100 humbuckers provide big tone when distorted, but also have the ability to output smooth, well-rounded cleans when required. A 3-way toggle switch and separate volume controls for each pickup are an excellent choice for keeping your tones varied and the master tone control enhances this even further. Overall the ESP LTD EC10 is a great beginners guitar providing excellent value for money.
