The ESP LTD EC-200QM Electric Guitar grabs your attention straight away with the professional looking quilted maple top and classic styling. By taking a classic body style and adding contours that increase upper fret access ESP have made a great guitar for rock or metal playing.
Construction
A quilted maple top stands out as a top feature on this guitar. Not only does it look great, it also adds some more response to high end frequencies than you'd get with the basswood body alone. Basswood is still a great foundation wood though and superbly complements the maple top. ESP and LTD are known for the thin U neck contour used on many of their models. These necks feel great and the mahogany version on the ESP LTD EC200QM is no exception. A rosewood fingerboard fitted with no less than 24 XJ frets partners exceptionally well with the neck and the two together allow for some seriously fast playing.
Hardware on the ESP LTD EC-200 QM is all ESP made and the trademark reliability you'd expect is certainly present. The black nickel tuners, bridge and tailpiece all secure your tuning well so you can focus more on your playing rather than constantly tuning up.
Electronics
Two passive ESP LH-301 humbuckers are on-board this electric guitar. These pickups love playing rock and metal and sound best when distorted. Clarity and definition is always there so you can push yourself and your music to extremes. Seperate volume controls for each pickup and a 3-way toggle provide your switching options while a master tone control is also fitted to the ESP LTD EC-200QM to enhance your variety of sounds.
