A fine vintage
1972 was a magical year for the humble Telecaster guitar, which was then available in several new designs and with more options than ever before. The Thinline Telecaster draws from classic design and new ideas to create a truly enjoyable playing experience, offering glimpses of the past, and all the modern features of today.
The '72 Telecaster Thinline features a rounder semi-hollow ash body capable of producing a warm fundamental tone whilst delivering a comfortable weight and feel for the player. A U-shaped, maple neck complete with maple fingerboard delivers a fast, smooth playing experience. This is topped off with 21 frets and black dot positional inlays.
For a fully customisable and versatile tone, the Fender Classic Series 72 Telecaster Thinline comes complete with two Wide Range humbucking pickups. Screaming snappy leads and thick rhythms can be easily obtained and shaped to your liking using the tone and volume control and three-way pickup switch.
Other features include bullet truss rod, '70s vintage hardtail strings-through Strat bridge and a three-bolt neckplate. All these features combine to make a guitar with a familiar feel, while also providing the unique combined sound of past and present together as one.
