The Boss GT-10B is a bass guitar processor for literally all live and studio applications, with an unparalleled range of effects, processors, connectivity, flexibility and control. More than just a Bass multi-FX unit, the GT-10B has full graphic EQ control, compressor/limiter, simultaneous effect chains, COSM amp models, looper, preset controls for stage, a USB audio interface, simultaneous stereo amp and XLR direct outputs and more. Optimised for bass, every part of this pedal is designed to get the best out of low frequencies and preserve your tone, where many other effects leave it sounding thin and weak.

With Overdrive, Distortion, Compressor, Limiter, Phrase looper (up to 38 seconds with unlimited sound-on-sound overdubs), Touch Wah, Graphic EQ and more you have a huge range of tone shaping options. You can interactively control the deepest settings with detailed information on the high-visibility display, and you can quickly access basic settings at all times. Knobs, buttons, assignable controls and a switchable expression/wah pedal offer superior control in high-paced live situations, and in precise studio sessions, the Boss GT-10B helps you to be ready for any gig.

A unique feature of the Boss GT10B is the 'crossover' type parallel signal chain, which lets you separate your top end and bottom end, applying different but simultaneous effects/processor chains to each part. You can also dynamically control the blend, or switch using the pedals. One such use of this signal splitting is to add distortion to the top end (a very common production technique), while leaving the bottom end clean and full so you don't lose the body of your bass sound (something that bass distortion often compromises).

The possibilities are huge, but the main point is that this pedal is built to make great, usable bass sounds in both live and studio mixes, and in ensemble environments. Many other pedals fall down by offering great effects, that are fine for solo bass performance, but do not cut it in a band situation. The difference between a 'full' sound, and a 'thin' sound is often very subtle, but it can make the difference between the audience feeling the groove or just sitting back down (they won't know why, but when the bass loses presence, a lot of music loses it's feel). With the Boss GT-10B you can fine-tune every detail in the rehearsal room and then call up powerful presets on stage that are sure to keep the groove going, while offering professional effect sounds that add interest to your performance.
