The Ibanez EGEN8 Herman Li Signature Model was created with serious collaboration from both DragonForce guitarist Herman Li and Ibanez. Herman Li wanted a guitar that could handle his otherworldly technique and musicality, both he and Ibanez knew it would take time to get everything just right. It took three years. But they did get it right. The EGEN8 captures the essence of Herman Li's ideas and is a seriously hardcore addition to the Ibanez signature guitar range.
The Edge III bridge/tremolo design provides even more stability and strength under the most demanding playing conditions. Now in gold hardware for Herman’s EGEN8!
The EGEN8 pickup force is ready and able for a wide range of sound and attack: V7 (H) neck, S1 (S) mid, and V8 (H) bridge.
EGEN8’s rosewood fretboard and special oval inlays.
The special scalloped hand grip on the top horn of the EGEN8, modeled from Herman’s actual right hand!
The new Edge III is similar in construction and feel to the original Edge locking trem; however, it also features lower profile fine-tuners inspired by the Lo-PRO Edge and massive new-design saddles.

When Herman Li asked Ibanez for a guitar they helped him all the way right down to the three prototypes. It is a 24 fret monster with custom bodywork carved down to finest detail.
The EGEN8 is the guitar to get.
