Kawai CA65 Digital Piano - Premium Cherry

Featuring new and upgraded features when compared to previous models, the Kawai CA65 is a digital piano that performs exceptionally well and has suitably stylish looks. Nearly everything has been improved, from the power consumption (the CA65 consumes around 50% less electricity than the previous generation model) to a new key action system, more realistic piano sampling and a larger LCD screen, making this a great choice for piano players.

Grand Feel key action & Ivory Touch keys

Kawai have increased the pivot length of the keys on this model and have made them the same length as you would see on a Kawai grand piano, offering a more realistic playing experience. The keys now feel even better thanks to the natural weight on the back of the keys which feel extremely stable and have improved responsiveness thanks to the new 3 sensor system. The grand piano feel is also present with the three pedal design, allowing you to control Damper (with half-pedal support), Soft and Sostenuto.

Improved Sound Quality

By increasing the waveform of their previous piano sampling system Kawai have created "Harmonic Imaging XL". This sample set covers 88-keys and reproduces the sound of a real acoustic piano in an extremely authentic way. Alongside this, the Kawai CA65 has 256 note polyphony and a new tone generator that improves the overall sound of the digital piano.

60 voices are available in total, including a good selection of non-piano sounds. Organs, strings and more are available on the Kawai CA65 so you can perform with suitable sounds in many situations.

Effects and additional features

Reverb is almost essential in creating an authentic piano sound and the Kawai CA65 features six types to allow you in achieve the optimum level of realism in your performance. Other effects are also available to use including chorus, delay, tremolo, rotary, pan and phaser effects which allow you to enhance your performance accordingly.

The Kawai CA65 Digital Piano has the ability to play and record both WAV and MP3 files, making it extremely versatile in that regard. 16 preset memories allow you to fully restore settings for quick and easy recall when you need them again, great for live performance.
