Providing a portable digital piano with some excellent features on board to improve playability and sound, the Kawai ES7 is a fantastic upgrade when compared to the previous model and can certainly hold its own in the market.
"Responsive Hammer II" key action & "Ivory Touch" keys
Upgraded to give you a feel closer to that of a grand piano, the Kawai ES7 features Responsive Hammer II key action that has a re-designed hammer pivot and motion to improve playing, especially during repetition and make it feel much more like an acoustic instrument. The Ivory Touch keys also improve this aspect of the instrument, with moisture absorbance and a natural feel top of the list.
New Tone Generator and Improved Samples
Improving the sound quality should always be a priority when upgrading a product, and Kawai have excelled themselves with the ES7. The new Tone Generator monitors how fast keys are lifted and adjusts the sound necessarily. This gives you a great sense of acoustic realism not possible without this technology. Kawai have also improved the 88-key piano sampling on the unit to make for more impressive sound quality.
The Kawai ES7 has 32 voices, including a good selection of piano and non-piano sounds. A lot of sounds are available to allow you to sound professional in many situations.
Effects and additional features
An amp simulator section offers three different variations to add some warmth and tonal variation to your sound. Increasingly important when trying to create an authentic electric piano sound, this feature is great for versatile musicians.

This digital piano is great it's sound quality is excellent and it is very easy to play.
