Giving you everything you need for a fluid performance, straight to hand, the Korg PS60 Synthesiser has been built with the gigging musician in mind. Easy to use, with dedicated, real time controls the Synth is lightweight and stylish: perfect for travelling with.
Sounds
The Korg PS 60 Synthesiser is packed with 440 sounds, handily organised into six categories, each with their own set of dedicated controls: piano, electric piano, organ, strings, brass and synth. Up to six sounds can be layered and making splits is just a button touch away.
Synth Power
The Korg PS60 Synthesiser utilises 49MB of high quality samples, and is capable of using up to eight stereo multisamples per voice. Alongside this the synth uses the Enhanced Definition Synthesis – integrated engine to offer four filters, two amps, five LFOs, and five EGs.
The synth also has an arsenal of 63 effects (both dynamics-types and amp models), which can be used on one of the five insert effects. You also have two master effects consisting of a reverb/delay effect and modulation effect, both with four effect types.
Control
Along with its 61 semi-weighted, natural-touch keys the Korg PS60 Synthesiser has the capability to be truly expressive with its array of controllers. A joystick is in place to alter timbral, while octave and transpose buttons control pitch. Furthermore you can hook up a damper pedal, foot pedal or footswitch via the Korg PS60’s two jacks, for hands-free control.
Sound Editing Software
Giving you more in-depth editing of your sounds is the PS60 Editor, which comes supplied with the synth. Multiple parameters and graphical cues can be viewed on your computer to create sounds in any category. The PS60 Plug-In Editor, which also comes supplied with the Korg PS60 Synthesiser, offers the same feature set as the standalone version but capable of being used within any VST, Audio Units, or RTAS format DAW software, as a plug-in synth. The programmes also offer a library feature to store the sounds you create on your computer.
