Control
You are not restricted to playing MIDI files with the Roland BK 5 Arranger Keyboard as it also allows you to hook up a USB device to play and manipulate MP3 & WAV files. Onboard controls allow you to play around with tempo and key signature, and there is even the Center Cancel function in place to reduce the vocals on the tracks you are working on (great for sing-alongs).
USB Connectivity
As previously mentioned the Roland BK-5 Keyboard’s USB connectivity allows you to use audio from USB devices such as a USB memory stick or self-powered USB hard disk. This connectivity also allows you to record your performance to your USB storage device of choice as a WAV file (44.1KHz/16-bit linear format).
Video Compatibility
To produce an all-encompassing show the Roland BK-5 Arranger Keyboard includes a composite video output. This means you can hook it up to an external monitor for the audience (or other musicians) to display lyrics and chord symbols.
