The Korg Kaossilator Dynamic Phrase Synthesizer puts the powerful sounds of a Korg Synth at your fingertips. This revolutionary little device makes it easy to get creative with cool synth sounds, beats, loops, effect sounds and loads more. The simple interface allows you to use either a fingertip or stylus (if pinpoint accuracy is needed), which means that you can make pro synth sounds from a very small, battery powered portable device with ease absoultely anywhere. The Korg Kaossilator is perfect for DJ's, synth players, electro-bands or anyone who wants to add a bit extra creativity to their live performance or production.

The Korg Kaossilator features 100 different programs that feature synth sounds from Korg's modelling synthesizer engine with Kaoss pad effects. The pad is set up intuitively with the horizontal axis controlling pitch while the veritcal axis controls filter/effect parameters like cutoff, feedback, modulation depth and more. This means your every move is coverted into an expressive sound and keeps you in control of the synth parameters in real time.

Scale/key controls enable you to ensure your notes always fit the song you are playing without worrying about clashes. There 31 scales to choose from wich range from the basic major, minor, blues and chromatic to more exotic flavours like Spanish, Ryukyu and Raga. This enables a performance sensitivity that makes the Kaossilator a genuine instrument, more than capable of playing melodic music and being used with other live musicians.

The other main features are loop recording (so you can layer up phrases and some artists have already used this device to make complete songs live on stage) and Gate Arpeggiator, which produces spcific patterns of notes in sync with the user specified tempo (50 patterns available) and this makes performances come to life. Use the looper and arpeggiator together to create beats and loops that give a percussive drive to your music.
