The Korg X50 Synthesiser’s 64 MB PCM memory gives you all the sounds you need, covering many instruments, with 512 Programs and 384 Combinations letting you use up to eight Programs together. Four effects can also be used simultaneously (insert effect, EQ and two master effects) from the range on offer. Compatibility with the Korg TR Series ensures you can share your tracks.
Dual Arpeggiator
The Korg X50 Synthesiser features dual polyphonic arpeggiators. Fantastic for live performance, using the arpeggiators in Combination mode you can have the drums and bass played for you while you concentrate on the melody and chords.
The Korg X50 Synthesiser is also highly flexible with 5 basic presets to choose from and 251 patterns with various phrases, but you aren’t limited as you can create your own and store them directly on the X50.
Easy Sound Selection
The Korg X50 Synthesiser makes it easy to find the right sound quickly by separating its catalogue into sixteen categories. In addition to the easy navigation the synth also gives you an Audition Riff function, which plays a clip of the selected sound to ensure it’s right for the job. To fine-tune your sound you have four knobs to adjust sounds, effects and arp settings.
Incredible Portability
The Korg X50 Synthesiser takes all these great features and crams them into a surprisingly light (just 4.5kg) and compact body. The synth will fit in just about anywhere and its portability is aided even further by the inclusion of handles situated on either side of its body.
Cutting-edge connections
Brilliant for both recording and surround sound situations the Korg X50 Synthesiser lets you output specific parts to individual outputs. Connecting to a computer is also easy with the X50 allowing MIDI connection through a USB lead. The synth’s Multimode gives you 16 parts and all the effects and settings to create whole songs with just the synth and your computer. What’s more you get 16 preloaded Multis with slots for a further 128 user-created Multis.
To keep track of all your sounds with your computer, the Korg X50 Synthesiser comes supplied with both standalone and plug-in editor/librarian software. The plug-in version supports VST, AU, and RTAS and can run within most DAW and sequencing software.
