Korg Kaossilator Pro

Brilliant for live performance the Korg Kaossilator Pro is also great in the studio thanks to SD storage and USB connectivity to hook up to your computer to give you an amazing production tool.

One Finger Control

At the centre of the Korg Kaossilator Pro is a touch pad that, with simple gestures, gives you full, intuitive and expressive control over your sound. For example vertical motion can control modulation depth, feedback or cutoff, while the horizontal axis looks after pitch. It really is that easy.

200 Sound Programmes

Everyone is catered for with the Korg Kaossilator Pro. The 200 sounds span every style of dance music such as, hip hop, R&B, breaks, techno, house, reggae, and electro. For more expression there are also acoustic instruments including guitar, piano and trumpet. For seamless performance you can assign eight of your favourites to the Program Memory buttons. There are even 15 vocoder programs to change up your voice when you connect a mic via the mic input jack.

Rhythm

The rhythm options on the Korg Kaossilator Pro have also been enhanced. The modelling synthesis is still in place but now there is an added PCM sound generator. All your rhythmic needs are catered for with 25 loops and 20 one-shot sounds (snare, kick, hi-hat, etc.).

31 Scales

31 built-in scales make life easy, using a single finger to play the most complex melodies and phrases. Everything is covered from major, minor and blues scales to specialist Spanish, Ryukyu, and Raga scales. The Korg Kaossilator Pro can even specify a range of pitches with the Note Range function.

Gate Arpeggiator

Generate amazing phrases with the Korg Kaossilator Pro Synths Gate Arpeggiator. This feature, that users of the EMX-1 loved, keeps your patterns of sound in perfect sync. Gate time and speed are altered with a slider while tempos can be set manually or with Tap Tempo.

Loop-the-Loop

Create your own loops via the Korg Kaossilator Pro Phrase Synths line and mic inputs. With these inputs you can create vocals, raps or other audio, turn them into loops and store them on one of the four loop banks.

The Korg Kaossilator Pro offers a plethora of loop functions with easy and limitless overdubbing. Just record your performance to one of the banks and play through again and again adding more sounds each time.

All of the loops stored in the loop banks can be muted/unmated, have volume adjusted and loop length changed individually. If you want to do away with a loop and record another this is also easily done on the fly.

Build You Own Library of Samples

The Korg Kaossilator Pro allows you to save your sample data to an SD card. On top of this Korg offer a free download for an editor/library programme so you can constantly add to your library of samples and edit them on your computer via USB.
