The Korg Mini KP Kaoss Pad brings both power and fun to the palm of your hand. With their intuitive touch pads the Kaoss Pad series has quickly become popular with musicians all of all types and now Korg are offering up this shrunken version to make the unit even more portable, making it particularly enticing to DJs.
Small in size but not in functionality the Korg Mini KP Kaoss Pad gives you the familiar touch pad interface as seen on other member of the Kaoss Series, to control effects parameters, but in a unit that is lightweight and operates on four AA batteries (which last you for approximately five hours). Effects processing on the move is now that much easier (alternatively there is a power supply available separately). Its smaller dimensions make this device ideal for use at home, outdoor, at events or even for use with an MP3 player.
Along with its controllable effects parameters the Korg Mini KP Kaoss Pad also offers a number of features borrowed from the KP3, such as: auto-BPM and Tap Tempo functionality, FX hold, FX Release, FX depth selection, to name but a few.
Of course the uses for the Korg Mini KP Kaoss Pad are seemingly endless. Patch it into the effects loop of an amp, between a synth and mixer, you can even hook it up to your TV via a mixer to get effects rich samples.
