The Korg NanoPad 2 compacts an amazing amount of features in lightweight controller with a small footprint. Get access to 16 velocity-sensitive pads (with four assignable banks) and the intuitive X-Y touchpad in a single compact unit that is powered from a USB lead, which also moves information to and from the device to save even more space.
16 Dynamic Pads with Four Assignable Banks
The Korg NanoPad 2 Controllers 16 pads quadruple to 64 thanks to the unit’s four assignable scenes, to give you a plethora of set-ups. The pads great feel and dynamics give excellent response, meaning you can convey your drum beats perfectly to a sequencer or DAW software with just your fingertips.
The Korg NanoPad 2 Controllers X-Y Touchpad gives you full control over several synth parameters with help from the controllers Touch Scale and Gate Arp functions. The Touch Scale, lifted from the Kaossilator, in conjunction with the X-Y pad allows you to play phases, giving you a choice of sixteen scales, note range and root key. Taken from the Kaossilator Pro, Gate Arp detects tempo to transmit note data. Combine the two functions and the X-Y and playing pads give you tempo-synchronized rhythms and phrases.
Korg Kontrol Editor
Open up even more options with the included Korg Kontrol Editor software. Working with the software the Korg NanoPad 2 is given three velocity curves or fixed velocity. You can also set-up your assignables with the software to get full control over the Touch Scale function, control change messages, note numbers and chords.
