Ordered one over Christmas as a little treat to myself. Overall an excellent amp. The modern channel is much more crisp and punchy, whereas the classic channel allows a lot more low end through, and has a gain boost option to allow you to distort a little through the amp. I've read a few reviews where people have criticised the compressor for being a little over-present. But from my use of the amp so far, the compressor works fine, you just need to twiddle the dial to take away the right number of dB.
Overall an excellent combo, and with the option of adding an extension cab to reach the full 450, this amp will really be able to blow people away! -
Amazing

I've been lucky enough to use a few different models of this series for rehearsals; they're great for anything! The bass response is so tight yet so powerful when you want it to be. You can get nice slap tones out of it too, and nice plectrum tones. It does what you need, and does it very, very well. The blend of the two modes enables you to not just EQ it, but to actually get your own sound from it. Goes great with OD and other effects pedals too. Love this amp!
