The Mirage HSD730 Tenor Horn is a student instrument with many attributes you would expect to find in more expensive tenor horns.
The Mirage HSD730 is an affordable entry level student tenor horn which has sold widely into educational establishments throughout the United Kingdom. It is ideally suited to the beginner who needs an instrument to start playing on without having to spend too much money.
The lead pipe is produced from rose brass, which in turn gives the tenor horn a very warm sound because of the high copper content in the brass. The valves are manufactured from monel steel for smoother operation. Most other student tenor horns only have nickel plated valves which in time will wear, leak and stick but the HSD730 boasts monel steel valves as found in more expensive models.
The HSD730 comes with a Denis Wick mouthpiece and lightweight case and is a very affordable student instrument.
