The lead pipe is produced from rose brass, which in turn gives the tenor horn a very warm sound because of the high copper content in the brass. The excellent design and precision construction of the MTH200 tenor horn gives the player very accurate intonation throughout all registers.
The valves are manufactured from monel steel for smoother operation. Most other student tenor horns only have nickel plated valves which in time will wear, leak and stick but the MTH200 boasts monel steel valves as found in more expensive models. The case provided is a zero gravity zipped case making it lightweight for carrying to lessons and schools.
The Mirage MTH200 tenor horn is possibly the best value, affordable yet reliable student tenor horn on the UK market today.
