The Mirage MTR150 Trumpet is the most affordable good quality student trumpet available.

The Mirage MTR150 trumpet is highly recommended amongst teachers and music services across the United Kingdom. It is ideally suited to any beginner because it is affordable, reliable and easy to blow. This instrument really needs to be played to be believed as it is incredible value for money and built to a very high specification.

The lead pipe is produced from rose brass, which in turn gives the trumpet a very warm sound because of the high copper content in the brass. The excellent design and precision construction of the MTR150 trumpet gives the player very accurate intonation throughout all registers.

The valves are now manufactured from stainless steel for smoother operation. Most other student trumpets only have nickel plated valves which in time will wear, leak and stick but the MTR150 boasts stainless steel valves as found in more expensive models. There are 2 water keys and adjustable 1st and 3rd valve slides with finger and thumb hooks for refined tuning in lower registers. The designer lightweight case provided is very compact and can be carried by hand or as a back-pack.

The Mirage MTR150 trumpet is undoubtedly the best value, affordable yet reliable student trumpet on the UK market today.

David Thomas, Dawsons Music Purchasing

The Mirage TR150 Trumpet has proved a real winner, as demonstrated by the number of Music Services throughout the UK who have invested in thousands of these as part of the Wider Opportunities schools music programme. The quality and durability is ideal, even in the hands of 7-9 year olds, but because they also represent incredible value for money they've also proved popular with older beginners who might normally go for a more expensive instrument.
