The Mirage MTR2000R trumpet is highly recommended amongst teachers and music services across the United Kingdom for students who need an affordable instrument, which can produce the quality of sound required in an orchestra. It is ideally suited to the progressing student for its potential sound production yet still at an affordable price. This instrument really needs to be played to be believed, as it is incredible value for money and built to a very high specification.

The lead pipe is produced from rose brass, which in turn gives the trumpet a very warm sound because of the high copper content in the brass. The addition of an extra stay on the lead pipe adds stability to the retention on tone within the trumpet. The real beneficial feature of the MTR2000R is the full rose brass bell, which seriously enhances the sound. The excellent design and precision construction of the MTR2000R trumpet gives the player very accurate intonation throughout all registers.

The valves are manufactured from monel steel for smoother operation. Most other student tumpets only have nickel plated valves which in time will wear, leak and stick but the MTR2000R boasts monel steel valves as found in more expensive models. There are 2 water keys and adjustable 1st and 3rd valve slides with finger and thumb hooks for refined tuning in lower registers. The lightweight case provided is very compact and light but still has storage room for mutes.
