One of the worlds first ever portable synthesizers, the Moog Minimoog Model D soon gathered global acclaim thanks to it's small frame that still packed in that big Moog sound. For the first time since 1981 you now have a chance to own this marvellous piece of musical engineering. Join ranks with the likes of Trent Reznor, Gary Numan, Dr. Dre, Keith Emerson, Herbie Hancock and many more and see what truly unique sounds you can get from the Minimoog Model D for your music.

Handcrafted to perfection

Each one of the Minimoog Model D synthesizers are handcrafted by the incredibly skilled technicians at the Moog Factory in the USA. the wood used for this versatile vintage 3-oscillator synth is locally-sourced Appalachian hard-wood which is complemented and reinforced with an aluminium chassis. The internal circuitry of the Minimoog Model D has remained identical in placement as per the 1970's era original Model D.

The original sound engine, enhanced

This version of the Minimoog Model D contains the same signal path as its original counterpart giving you that unaltered classic Moog sound, but there have been certain enhancements to integrate the Model D into today's music production and performance environments.

These upgrades include a premium Fatar keybed with velocity and after pressure sensitivity for better expressive control over sound, a dedicated analog LFO with triangle and square waveshapes, CV outputs for pitch, gate, velocity and after pressure, basic MIDI integration, and a mixer overload modification for incredibly thick and overdriven sounds.

Military Grade Precision

As you would expect from Moog, the Minimoog Model D is built with outstanding precision and due to the complexity of the build quality, only a small number of these synthesizers can be produced. This not only ensures that you get a master-crafted instrument, but a piece of history that will be highly limited and incredibly valuable as a collectors item.
