The power within
The Moog Werkstatt01 comes with a staggering amount of elements that you can tweak and play. The 9-octave oscillator (8Hz to 16 kHz) that includes classic saw and square shapes can be manipulated using the square pulse width selector knob. A classic 4-pole Moog ladder filter (20Hz to 20 kHz) complete with resonance control allows you to create thick and screaming lead sounds or huge bass or... pretty much anything! The Moog Werkstatt01 is designed for you to experiment so that the sound is truly unique to you.
The panel of the Moog Werkstatt01 is clearly laid out. A simple red LED indicates that the unit is powered on and all modulation and envelope sections are clearly marked. No matter what level your musical skill, anyone can create huge analog sound with the Moog Werkstatt01.
The addition of a small button keyboard on the bottom of the Moog Werkstatt01 makes an excellent addition for those wanting to write melodies on the fly. Simply connect the audio out to your PA or recording system and capture the full Moog circuit sound to use as part of your performance or recording!
The Moog Werkstatt01 comes with it's own miniature patch bay so you can route the circuitry as you wish! The possibilities are truly endless.
For a completely unique analog synthesizer with the addition of the fact that you assembled it yourself, the Moog Werkstatt01 Moogfest 2014 Analog Synthesizer Kit is something that you can spend your life playing with and is sure to be a highly valued future collectors piece. Build your sound, with the Moog Werkstatt01.
