Previously only available in blue, Gibson are now releasing a new range of colours and finishes for their Gibson Robot Guitar range. They are also releasing an SG version of the robot guitar plus an Explorer version of the guitar later in the year.

The guitars will be available in the following colours/finishes:

* July: Gibson Robot Guitar in Red Metallic – Both Les Paul and SG versions
* August: Gibson Robot Guitar in Silver Burst – Both Les Paul and SG versions
* September: Gibson Robot Guitar in Ebony – Both Les Paul and SG versions
* October: Gibson Robot Guitar in Manhattan Midnight – Les Paul version only
* October: Gibson Robot Guitar in Red Metallic- Explorer version only
* November: Gibson Robot Guitar in Fireburst- Les Paul version only
* November: Gibson Robot Guitar in Cherry – SG version only
* December: Gibson Robot Guitar in Desert Burst – Les Paul version only
* December: Gibson Robot Guitar in Natural Burst – SG version only
