The Orange PPC212-OB is a 2 x 12" Open Back Speaker Cabinet featuring (2) 60 Watt Celestion Vintage 30 Speakers. Open Back speaker cabinets have a chimier tone with more presence, opening up the player’s sound and spreading it throughout the studio or live space.
The Orange PPC212-OB is built to last using extremely rugged construction and manufacturing techniques. The cabinet is built using 13 ply high density 18mm Baltic Birch plywood and features Orange's unique skid feet design to acoustically couple the cabinet to the stage, thus providing a tighter bass response and full range tone definition. The result is a laser-focused tone that`s full of warm midrange.
The Orange PPC212-OB is equipped with Celestion speakers, comfortable flush handles and a basket-weave grill cloth.

amazing cab!

While looking around for a guitar cab to fit my new orange duel terror i tried out several cabs including Blackstar and Marshall but finally i stumbled across this beauty. This open back cab has a lovely warm tone due to the slightly wider mid range which gives it a more balanced tone, giving it the ability to do clean amazingly without any determent to the distorted tone, giving it a amazing range, everything i throw at it, it just laps it up. The opposing closed back cabinet has a tighter low end (which makes it nicer for a distorted tone apparently although i didn't agree when trying it out) i think that the open back stands up to it incredibly well for £150 less. Although amp tone is subjective i think anyone who gets to try this out will love it. Amazing cab and is as much fun at home as on stage, its just such a pleasure to use!
