Maintaining the size of the original Tiny Terror, the Orange Terror Bass 500 Hybrid is a 500 watt hybrid amplifier with a Class D solid state power section and same the preamp as Orange's all-tube AD200B UK bass amp.
The Orange Terror Bass 500 Hybrid amp head provides you with a twin valve 12AX7 preamp which truly cranks out some unbelievable power coupled up with the legendary Orange tone. You can customize and tweak your tone with the help of the treble, mid, and bass controls, or seriously kick your sound into overdrive with the gain control. Surprisingly, all this power is crammed into a small, lightweight and portable unit, so it works out as a fantastic gigging head. If you're a bassist looking for a small rig that packs a serious punch, then the Orange Terror could be the amp head for you.
The Orange Terror Bass 500 Hybrid has been designed with durability in mind, and it would have to be, to take the amazing sounds of the Terror out with you on the road. The heavy duty casing will be sure to protect against any hazards you may find when out on tour. The Orange Terror Bass 500 also carries the Orange signature looks in a slightly different light... The Terror head wears a flattering white paintjob complete with orange stripe, and of course, the legendary Orange logo. With the same great looks as the other Terror series guitar amps, and a rugged construction that will stand up to the road, bass players can now become a part of the famed Tiny Terror club.

- Enjoyed it
- Gritty bass goodness!
Great gritty tone with the gain up and a pretty good clean with it rolled back and at the right level. Only issue I found with it was that it was quite tricky to maintain the clean tone while turning up the volume a bit. The EQ section was fairly responsive but not enough in my opinion but it's still good enough to gig!!
