The Orange PPC 2x12" AD speaker cabinet houses two Celestion Vintage 30 speakers in a world renowned, heavy duty cabinet that sets Orange apart from the rest of the pack.
Orange make seriously good cabinets. If you have ever doubted the sonic difference between one brand of cabinet to the next, try A/B'ing your current cab with an Orange cab, it should take one crashing chord to convince you. The cabinets are like some kind of major engineering project, the 13 ply, high density birch plywood is 18mm thick and built to be thrown around on the road by the most carefree roadie and offer up the same sort of bullet proof durability normally reserved for the armed forces. Celestion Vintage 30's are the speaker of choice for guitarists such as Slash, Steve Stevens and Peter Frampton (all of which use the Vintage 30's) due to the full and rich bottom end, vocal-like mid-range and singing, detailed top-end. Yes these cabs are heavy, very heavy but blimey, they're really very good.
