Pioneer CDJ-2000nexus

The Pioneer CDJ-2000nexus utilises the popularity of smartphone and tablet use in modern music by allowing you to use music stored on the aforementioned devices in your DJ setup via WiFi or USB. WiFi offers wireless connectivity, while USB will charge your device at the same time as using its music library.

Just download the iOS or Android OS version of rekordbox (free of charge) for your device and you can use you tablet/smartphone’s touchscreen, and the app’s intuitive controls, to select music for use in your set.

Additionally the Pioneer CDJ2000nexus comes bundled with Mac and PC versions of rekordbox for you to send music wirelessly with your WiFi-connected laptop/desktop computer.

The included DJ software, rekordbox, isn’t just a music library but a tool for preparing music in advance, with new features for the Pioneer CDJ 2000nexus including Wave Zoom, Key, Active Loop and Hot Cue Auto Load.

Used on a smartphone you can make preparations such as playlist creation, cue/loop point settings, beat location settings and waveform analysis on the move and even transmit your configurations to and from devices.

Full-colour LCD Display

The Pioneer CDJ-2000nexus ensures you’re in charge of all the information you need with a large 6.1-inch colour LCD display. Artwork and music information is displayed in lists, making it easy to find the music you want, straight away. In addition showing the wave form of music the Pioneer CDJ-2000 nexus now features Wave Zoom, which does just that; it allows you to zoom right into the waveform up to five levels, which are colour-coded, to get precision control over your music.

Slip and Quantize

Keeping your performance solid even when cycling through functions the Pioneer CDJ 2000 nexus features Slip and Quantize. Slip Mode will keep your music progressing in the background whilst invoking functions such as Loop, Reverse, Scratch, Hot Cue and Pause. Quantize will kick in when using Loop, Reverse and Hot Cue to ensure a consistent performance.

The Pioneer CDJ-2000nexus ensures high quality sound and stable performance. A new algorithm has been put in place to deliver high-quality audio even during tempo shifts. The unit also inherits the CDJ-2000 audio circuit, to give you clear, powerful sound that remains stable at high volumes.

Along with support for smartphones and tablets MP3, AAC, WAV and AIFF file formats can be played back from flash memory and hard disks, SD memory cards, audio CDs and DVDs.
