Pioneer DJM-2000 Mixer

Compacting the functionality of a larger & more complicated rig into a smaller, more intuitive package the Pioneer DJM-2000 Mixer offers a fantastic range of digital effects built-in. Either side of the effects unit are the mixers controls, with connections for up to four digital/USB sources. Fast sound effects creation is possible with the INST FX controls, while the large (5.8”) LCD display is the perfect tool for remixing beats and adding effects.

Multi-Touch Panel

Adding effects with the Pioneer DJM 2000 Mixer is intuitive with the full-colour 5.8-inch LCD multi-touch panel. Functioning across three performance modes (Frequency mix, Sidechain remix & MIDI) the controls displayed on the screen can be manipulated easily by touching relevant areas.

Evolved Beat Effects

The Pioneer DJM2000 Mixer contains within its board, Evolved Beat Effects. This section gives performers the ability to selected and manipulate multiple effects and beats parameters quickly and easily. With the Effect Frequency knobs also onboard the Pioneer DJM-2000 Mixers users can isolate the low, mid and high frequency bands and apply effects to each.

INST FX (Instant Instrument FX)

For ultra-quick effects application the Pioneer DJM-2000 has a INST FX section, which is comprised of six effects: Noise, HPF, LPF, Jet, Zip and Crush. These can be applied to a channel at the turn of a filter knob, with fine-tuning coming courtesy of the Parameter knob.

Pro DJ Link

Using Pioneer’s Pro DJ Link technology and the Pioneer DJM-2000’s four Ethernet ports the mixer can be used with up to four CDJ-2000/CDJ-900 turntables. This connectivity allows you to use a single audio source (USB device/hard drive or SD card) from one of the decks, across the whole rig. This addition also enables you interface with up to two laptops running rekordbox.

Live Sampler

Aiding on-the-fly creativity is the Pioneer DJM-2000 Mixer’s Live Sampler. This gives you the ability to record from the mic or Master output onto the mixer and send the sample to a CDJ-2000 or CDJ-900.

Computer Connectivity

With its USB audio interface the Pioneer DJM-2000 Mixer can communicate with your computer directly. Four audio sources can be associated with each channel and you can even record your performance with the Master output connected to your computer.
