With plug-and-play connectivity, MIDI control for the likes of Ableton and TRAKTOR is a breeze; the unit is even TRAKTOR Scratch Certified. Just hook up with a single USB cable and you’re good to go for direct control of TRAKTOR with Timecode CD and/or vinyl.

Flawless Beat Effects with X-Pad and rekordbox Quantize

Giving you even more creative possibilities the Pioneer DJM-900 Nexus Mixer gives you more beat effects, which now total 13 and include Spiral, Slip Roll, Melodic and an updated Reverb. With the X-Pad now in place on the Pioneer DJM-900Nexus Mixer activating and changing the timing of effects is easy with its intuitive, touch-sensitive strip.

Matching BPM and beat positioning to the effects is simpler than ever with rekordbox Quantize. Control over external devices, such as effecters, is also easy with the MIDI LFO function.

rekordbox and Pro DJ Link

With Pro DJ Link you can connect to your laptop with just a single LAN cable, combining the full functionality of rekordbox with the Pioneer DJM-900NXS Mixer (or any compatible CDJ that’s hooked up to the mixer). This makes a whole host of features available to you straight from the mixer, such as Now On Play indication, rekordbox Quantize, Cue Link and a separate channel for monitoring upcoming rekordbox tracks with your headphones.

The Pioneer DJM 900 Nexus Mixer brings six channel-assignable effects into the mix. The two classic staples Filter and Crush are joined by Space reverb, Noise, Dub Echo and Gate/Comp.
