The Presonus StudioLive 16.4.2AI 16-channel digital mixing console, is the perfect partner for both live and in-studio sound engineers. The highly intuitive interface is paired with incredibly powerful digital signal processing technology that takes your recording capabilities to new heights.
Whether you're a seasoned pro or a first-timer, the Presonus StudioLive 16.4.2AI is easy to get to grips with from the start. Cleverly sectioned off in a distinctively colourful grid-like framework, everything from channel inputs to FX to outputs are easy to find in no time at all. Carefully attenuated meters give quick visual cues, perfect for navigating the control surface in poor light. For times when it's just too dark, the 12V-0.5A socket allows you to connect a lamp (not included).
Powerful Digital Signal Processing
The 16.4.2AI include StudioLive Active Integration technology, combining the best of StudioLive's analogue predecessors, with a host of newly embedded features to make it better than ever. Active Integration means greater processing power with a seamless partnership between hardware/software that creates a user experience that is unlike any other.
At your disposal are 16 input channels and each one is equipped with Presonus Class-A XMAX microphone preamps and Active Integration onboard DSP, as well as individual 1/4" line inputs and channel inserts. Whether you're using the mixing console in a live venue or in a recording studio, the high headroom and low noise floor offered by the mic preamps is superb. Phantom power is easily accessible on each channel, giving your condenser microphones the boost they need.
For ready control over your mix, the built-in Compressor and Equalizer controls allow you to sculpt and shape each signal to match your live environment/recording mix. In the Compressor section you can rapidly see the Ratio, Attack, Release and Gain levels, and their accompanying controls. The EQ section has meter levels and individual Frequency and Gain controls for: Low, Low Mid, High Mid and High frequencies. Within the same section there are also the Gate and High-Pass Filter controls.
Studio One 2 Artist DAW Software
The StudioLive mixing console comes with Studio One 2 Artist DAW software, which allows you to easily record additional tracks, add-in virtual instruments to accompany your live instruments, and save track controls to be recalled later, and perform in-depth editing after you've captured recordings.
The incredibly powerful StudioLive 16.4.2AI 16-channel digital mixing console is simply amazing, which combines power, deft control, and incredible versatility to astonishing effect.
