The Korg SR1 Sound On Sound Portable Recorder is like an audio-notepdad for sonic artists and note-takers of all sorts, from musicians to poets. Unlimited numbers of overdubs means you can keep adding to your recordings and building up tracks with countless layers of CD-quality audio. Be as prolific as you like with storage for up to 200 songs. The Korg SOS recorder can use both microSD and microSDHC for convenient, readily available extra storage.
Your overdubs are saved seperately as individual WAV files, and they can be loaded directly into any DAW. The wave files are BWF (broadcast wave format) compliant so the timing information can be read by compatible DAWs to put all the seperate tracks in the right place in your project.
The built in rhythm patterns and effects let you create demo productions that can be mixed later, and may well end up on the final project - given the quick turnover of demo to studio recording today, this tool is invaluable for getting on the ball and getting ahead with projects.
Made a mistake? Need to change the direction of a recording? Unlimited undo/redo, loop recording and sound stretch mean you can keep working on multi-track projects without worring about ruining what you've done with an overdub...
