The Tascam BB-1000CD Portable CD/SD Recorder is a brilliant tool for all musicians and performers that need instant audio recording to WAV, MP3 or Audio CD. Classrooms, ensembles and drama groups needing to record their performances, rehearsals, oral exams and presentations will strongly benefit from the speed and ease of use. There is even an included remote, so you can control the recorder from a desk or simply from another place in the room.
Record using external microphones (via XLR with phantom power), or using the two built-in stereo pairs of condenser microphones (so you can record what is in front, or what is behind the BB-1000 - in stereo). Overdub your recordings directly when you want to creat a multi-layer track. When you need to convert recordings from the SD card to CD or vice versa the Tascam BB1000CD can do it easily with the Copy function. Play back your recordings with the built in 10W stero sound system.
Musicians can use the various practice and performance features built into the Tascam BB 1000. Loop playback lets you pick a section of the song to play repeatedly. Variable speed aution lets you change the speed of audio without changing the pitch, so you can perfect things at slower tempos, or speed them up and key control lets you change the pitch without changing the speed, so you can change keys for singers to practice. Finally, the metronome and tuner can come in handy in a wide range of musical situations.
