The Tascam DP008 is a portable 8-track recorder with two-track simultaneous recording (via built-in mics or XLR/Jack). Each of the 8 tracks has a dedicated channel strip so you can mix your projects. Record in CD-quality, use the on-board tuner and built in metronome to lay down high quality recordings that will help you to realise the ideas in your head quickly, and export the to show to others.
Use a footswitch, or punch in mode for quick tracking, and with an 1/8th" stereo headphone out you can monitor with your MP3 player headphones when you are in a rush. Four AA batteries keep the Tascam DP008 portable for hours of operation, and the option of purchasing a power adaptor if you want to use the DP8 for extented periods of time. The SD memory is easy to obtain, and it is compa-tible with SDHC so you can have up to 32GB of internal storage!
Each channel has level, pan, EQ and reverb control so you can mix in great detail. USB lets you import and export audio to computers. RCA line outputs let you play your tracks out of PA desks and Hi-Fi equipment and the backlit LCD display ensures you can see exactly what is going on with the levels.
