The deftly constructed body has been built using laminated mahogany, noted by instrument builders and musicians for its inherent warmth combined with a forceful energy. The S20 is both lightweight and perfectly formed, with a comfortable profile that makes this uke a joy to play. Thanks to the laminate, the S20 stands up well to changes in both temperature and humidity, so you can rest assured that wherever your travels may take you and your ukulele, it will play perfectly every time.
Fitted to the body is a solid neck that is married to a rosewood fingerboard. Rosewood is smooth to the touch, guaranteeing comfort throughout each and every performance. Navigating the 12-fret playing area is made easy thanks to the dot position inlays.
Rosewood has also been employed in the role of ensuring a seamless connection between the strings and body, crucial to upholding the reassuring playing feel. The bridge carries out its task effortlessly, and working in partnership with the well appointed tuning machines, the S20 maintains intonation and tuning accurately throughout. The S20 has been completed in an understated natural finish, proudly displaying the natural grain of the laminated mahogany.

These ukuleles are excellent quality for the money. Ours even came with cases. They have a good tone and are easy to play for little ones. I used them with my Year 3 class and they really enjoy them. I've tried several ukuleles at this price and these were the best by far. Customer service from Dawson has also been first rate, and I have used them again subsequently.
