Over 40 years ago, we saw the introduction of the Roland System 100, 100M and 700 synthesizers. These ground-breaking synthesizers soon rose to fame due to their amazing flexibility and character of sound. Many world class artists put these remarkable synths to use over countless tracks but as time marched on, the System series grew rare and almost mythical. Then in 2014 we saw the rise of the System 1 bringing legendary sound back to life. Now, we have the introduction of the Roland Aira System 1M – a rack version for use in 19” rackmounts or tabletop.
If the Roland System 1M synthesizer was a human body, then the Analog circuit behaviour system would definitely be the heart. The ACB system is used to carefully analyse every aspect of analog circuits and then faithfully recreate them down to the finest details. This means the System 1 can deliver both classic and cutting edge sounds.
Plug out capability
Not only can the Roland Aira System 1M generate it's own staggering tone, but it can also be used to control and even host software recreations of classic Roland synthesizers with no computer required! This is known as 'Plug-Out' technology, exclusive to the System 1M. You can even seamlessly switch between the internal sounds of the System 1M and that of the loaded plug-in.
Sharp and practical looks
Once you first cast your eyes over the Roland System 1M the first thing that will grab you is the dizzying array of lights, performance ready controller knobs and sliders that scream classic synth character! The build quality is also of the most impressive quality too, the clean and sharp edges match the rest of the line-up in the Roland Aira series majestically.
Other amazing features of the Roland System 1M include the ability to can connect the System 1 to your computer via its USB jack to send and receive Audio and MIDI data, including MIDI clock data to sync with external devices.
Offering you a practical way to integrate this superb synth technology into your studio, the Roland Aira System 1M rackmount synthesizer will make a great addition to your music creation arsenal.
