The Roland LX15 Digital Piano is a serious piano for serious pianists. Armed to the hilt with Roland’s latest technologies the LX15 features the SuperNATURAL Piano engine with Soundboard Behaviour, a PHA III Ivory Feel keyboard with Escapement and Progressive Damper-Action Pedals, all in an elegant upright piano.

Acoustic Projection Sound System

Enhancing the SuperNATURAL Piano engines expressiveness the Roland LX15 Digital Piano features the Acoustic Projection sound system. Drawing inspiration from the Roland V-Piano Grand this system creates a multi-dimensional sound field that emulates the resonant characteristics of an acoustic. Basically the piano has a total of six speakers (2 upper, 2 middle & 2 lower) positioned to emphasis various portions of the pianos sound to give a rich, all-encompassing sound.

SuperNATURAL Piano with Soundboard Behaviour

With the SuperNATURAL Piano engine onboard the Roland LX15 Digital Piano you can be truly expressive, as it offers realistic key-change behaviour, true velocity response and natural note decay. This is supported further by Roland’s Soundboard Behaviour, which emulates the characteristics of string vibrations on the soundboard and enhances sound clarity.

Onboard Fortepiano & Harpsichord Sounds

In addition to grand-piano sounds the Roland LX15 Upright Digital Piano features four fortepiano and two harpsichord sounds. With built-in historic temperaments these are the perfect compliment for other classical instruments and to play realistic Mozart, Beethoven or Chopin.

PHA III Ivory Feel keyboard with Escapement

To give you the feel of a grand piano, as well as the sound, the Roland LX-15 Digital Piano features the PHA III Ivory Feel keyboard with Escapement. The PHA III keyboard is highly sensitive to pick up everything from the lightest touch to heavier play, and fast key-repetition. The Ivory Feel is Roland’s specially designed surface material that gives the keys the textures and sensation of ivory and ebony. Escapement is a mechanism that gives the Roland LX15 Digital Piano the realist ‘click-feel’ of a grand-piano keyboard.

Progressive Damper Action Pedals

The Roland LX15 Digital Pianos also offers realistic pedal response thanks the Progressive Damper Action Pedals. The pedals offer light resistance that increases in intensity with continued pressure, giving the feedback necessary when employing half-pedalling techniques.

Built-in Recorder & USB Connectivity

A great feature for both professional pianists and beginners the Roland LX15 Digital Piano lets you capture your performance with a built-in recorder, to playback and review your playing. With USB connectivity you can also save your recordings to a memory storage device to bring to your computer.
