Compact

The Roland UM-ONE MK2 USB MIDI Interface offers a compact, simple-to-use, and super-fast bus-powered MIDI Interface for musicians on a budget, and for those who love to travel. The UM-ONE MK2 features 1-in/1-out connectivity through integrated USB and MIDI cables, it's as simple as that. No gimmicks, no unnecessary features, just a simple, easy to use interface that gives you everything you need to start recording MIDI instruments for your next big thing.

HIgh speed data transmission

The UM-ONE MK2 possesses high-performance Fast Processing Technology (FPT). This allows for high-speed, high-resolution MIDI data transmission by exploiting the high-speed capabilities of USB, resulting in incredibly low latency and low jitter data transfer, a must have in MIDI composition. Because the UM-ONE MK2 MIDI Interface is USB too, it means that you can take it out on the road with you, should any creativity pop up while getting to the next gig.

Fast response

The Roland UM-ONE MK2 features visual data indicators for simplified signal monitoring, making it quicker and easier to work with. Customer Reviews
great product
Posted on 20/01/2016 by enc Few weeks ago I bought a Roland TR8. i needed to sync it up with music apps on my ipad. I'd looked at various options ... iconnect midi 2 being the obvious choice but that device has issues with ios I believe.

I decided to call Dawsons in Warrington (where id bought the TR8) to see if they could help ... spoke to a very helpful chap called Graham who suggested I try the Roland UM one interface.... he was confident it would work as he used one himself.... he was right.

After some initial confusion with midi in and out configuration i had the TR8 synced to the iPad. the interface looks slightly overpriced for what it is but it gets the job done. Great service from Dawsons and thanks to Graham for the advice.
