Happy

I needed a microphone for both my vocals and my acoustic guitar for my music, and this worked great. Just what I needed to bring my music alive, complete with its ability to orchestrate sounds of high and low frequencies without any problems.
Having a spider suspension mount to isolate the microphone from transient noise really helps to deliver a quality recording for my music, without too much interference. This is an ideal microphone if you're looking to play acoustic music.
The price may put you off, but then you have to pay for quality, and that's what it delivers. -
Versatility at its Best!

Used this microphone for many different applications such as vocals, acoustic guitar and percussion and every time it’s brought extra clarity and depth to the tonality of each application. For the price this microphone CANNOT be overlooked! Any home studio owners on a budget, this is a must!

A fantastic mic for vocals and very much a suitable all-rounder at this price point.

I love this microphone. The solid design and pad and roll off switches give the microphone a ten out of ten for versatility and structure.
I know that anybody thinking of buying this microphone model would NOT be disappointed as it works well picking up any sound whether it be a professional studio (where I've come across them before) or a home studio (in which I use mine).
Another musical use would be in grouping backing vocalists around the mic but it may be that you wish to capture a single instrument with a wider sense of ambience than using cardioid would impart and this microphone takes care of this extremely well. -

Sontronics have been making great affordable mics for ages and I got to use the STC-2 in the studio the other day. For a mic that only costs £149 i would highly recommend this for home studio and as a back up mic in pro studios. The sound is crisp and clear.
