The Squier Classic Vibe ‘50s Telecaster in gorgeous Butterscotch Blonde, delivers classic Tele’ style with modern appointments that allow it to perform like a dream. The Telecaster is very much the working musician's guitar given their versatility and the reliability, and these guitars are built for all manner of abuse on the road or in the studio.
The body has been shaped to the distinctive single-cutaway Telecaster body profile, with pine being employed as the tonewood of choice. Pine has a more focused midrange tone than other tonewoods, giving it a punchy tone that is suited to a wide range of musical styles. The shapely Tele' curves make the body a joy to wield, whilst the cutaway makes it comfortable to access the upper frets.
Fitted to the body is a slender modern "C" profile maple neck, designed to play fast and free. Married to the neck is a maple fingerboard, which is shaped to a 9.5" radius to accommodate smooth string bends, comfortable chord playing and fast playing-styles. The 21-fret fingerboard is adorned with black dot position inlays that guide your way in style.
The Squier Classic Vibe ‘50s Telecaster is equipped with Custom Vintage single-coil Tele' pickups in the neck and bridge positions, with control coming in the form a 3-position pickup selector switch, and Master Volume and Master Tone pots.
The setup may be simplistic, but thanks to the ingenious design, a complex range of tones can be plucked from this pair of beauties. Fender have included brass saddles on the Squier Classic Vibe 50s Telecaster to give the guitar extra brightness and clarity in the bridge pickup. Together with the maple fingerboard this creates a super twangy guitar, which is great for country playing, as well as modern punk/pop bands that prefer a hard edge to their tone. That's not to say it's confined to these genres. Simply flick the switch to the neck position and you can obtain rich blues' tones.
In order to craft the finest instrument possible, Squier has pored over every detail to create an impeccable guitar. The high-level of quality to the finish will amaze both beginners and seasoned pros, and at this price it leaves more expensive models trailing in its wake.

Received this Tele from Dawsons three weeks ago. Haven't put it down since! Superb in every way, finish, feel and sound not to mention build quality. I own far more expensive guitars; Fenders, Gibsons PRS etc, but this is up there with them. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this guitar what ever your ability.
Really pleased with this guitar

This blows away most other guitars at this price point and even some costing more. Craftsmanship is superb with the frets & neck playing very well indeed. The pickups are good, and it was set up well from the shop. It's a great platform for modifications that will grow with your playing...just buy one - you won't be disappointed!!!
