The Squier Mikey Way Mustang Bass is a hard hitting, humbucking bass guitar designed with input from the My Chemical Romance Bassist himself. This short scale bass (30") features a seriously shiny large-flake silver sparkle finish with black racing stripes, on a cool Mustang body shape. This is a guitar that is not afraid to stand out from the crowd. To top it all of the black headstock is emblazoned with a Mikey Way signature. If you love bass and you love MCR, this is a fantastic bass.
The Squier Mikey Way Mustang Bass tears through the mix with an explosive bass humbucker that'll punch through hard, even when the band is thrashing out. The humbucker has a black cover that blends in with the black pickguard (3-ply black-white-black). The tone and sustain are increased by the string-through-body bridge, while the tuning and intonation are perfected by the 4-saddle adjustable bridge and vintage-style chrome tuners.
The chrome hardware, rosewood fretboard and black headstock contribute to the guitar's overall silver/black look that makes it really stick out. The single humbucker bass pickup is versatile, and it is paried with tone and volume control pots, that offer the flexibility you need to get the best from your performances.
