There's no end to the amount of DJ technology in the world today, growing more and more powerful with each new release. But there are many DJ's that will tell you that you can't beat the feel of real vinyl on a proper slipmat with a decent turntable. The Stanton T.62 Direct Drive Analog Turntable is one such deck that comes fully loaded with rock-solid components to give you one of the best traditional DJ experiences today.
The Stanton T.62 is a direct drive turntable that gives it an edge over belt driven turntables when it comes to speed and accuracy. This allows you to switch between 33 and 45 rpm in less than a second! The same rule also applies to starting and breaking which can also both be done in under a second. The 8-pole, 3 phase brushless motor is incredibly durable and efficient and guarantees years and years of accurate usage.
For beatmatching, the Stanton T.62 comes with a -/+ 10% manually adjustable pitch control that responds instantly, making your mixing a very smooth process. A single LED allows you to get visual representation of speed from the side of the platter.
To ensure undisturbed tracking the Stanton T.62 employs a straight tone arm capable of supporting cartridges weighing between 6 and 10g. This is excellent news for heavy scratchers as it will, within reason, keep the needle securely between the grooves when scrubbing your favourite tunes.
Full kit included
The Stanton T.62 also comes with a high quality 500.v3 cartridge to get you started along with a set of high quality RCA cables, a Stanton branded slip-mat and a dust cover to keep everything pristine when not in use. For under £180, the Stanton T.62 Direct Drive Analog Turntable can encourage newer DJ's and be enjoyed by more experienced turntable artists, whatever your style.
