The Grand Auditorium shape is paired with a luxurious Western Red Cedar/Tropical American Mahogany tonewood selection, which looks elegant and sounds outstanding. The shape is also known for providing a well-balanced tone - perfect for those who find some dreadnought shaped guitars have too much bass in their sound. This also makes this guitar great for live use within a band where the Taylor GA5E will sit comfortably within a mix.
The Taylor GA5E Electro Acoustic Guitar is also pre-fitted with Taylor’s own Expression System so you can plug in just about anywhere and get a great, clean amplified tone. This magnet-based system was designed to sound as close to a microphone as possible while having the versatility provided by a magnetic pickup. Only three simple controls– volume, bass and treble – are onboard this guitar meaning you can spend as much time playing as possible.
A robust Taylor Deluxe Hardshell case is also included within the price of the Taylor GA5E so you can take this guitar with you without worrying about any damage occurring while travelling.
