The TC Electronic T2 Reverb guitar effects pedal is a garden of delights, offering easy access to a plethora of gorgeous reverb types that fill your tone with lush, textured spaciousness. Whether you're looking to generate the wide-open expanse of the Grand Canyon, recreate the shimmering beauty of the Northern Lights, or add subtle inflections to your signal, then the T2 makes the process as simple as possible. The classic stompbox design means that following a couple of knob adjustments, only one footswitch is needed to achieve reverb nirvana!
The pedal is packed with 10 different reverb types, each one selectable using the Reverb Type Selector dial. Each one offers a unique, character-filled setting: Reverb I creates a warm space and slow modulation with a stretchy, elastic feel; Reverb II is a long sustaining reverb mixed with a watery, organ-like vibrato; Reverb III is a clear, glassy reverb with an emphasised low-end presence; Reverb IV is a massive cathedral-type reverb; Reverb V is a slow pitch-bending reverb with doubling effect; Reverb VI is a plate reverb with warm talls and subtle modulation that is dripping with sweetness; Reverb VII is a flanged reverb with classic 80s' sweep; Reverb VIII is a deep, natural sounding hall reverb with a maximum allowed decay.
The E1 and E2 Ethereal reverb settings were designed in partnership with TC's collaborators ProGuitarShop. The E1 Ethereal 1 Reverb setting was designed to push the limits of the EQ settings of the reverbs decay, which gave rise to a distinct presence of upper harmonic overtones that gives it a shimmering aura. The E2 Ethereal 2 Reverb setting provides a throbbing drone behind each note to generate a wall of sound. Both settings are dynamic, responding to pick attack, as well as the string that is being played.
The TC Electronic T2 Reverb guitar effects pedal is TonePrint enabled, which means that by using the USB port to connect the pedal to your computer, you have access to a plethora of custom tones created by a wide range of world renowned artists including: John Petrucci, Brett Hinds, Guthrie Govan, Joe Perry, and Steve Morse (to name but a few). The unit can be powered using TC's own power adapters (sold separately) or a standard 9V battery (not included).
If you're looking for a reverb pedal that is highly versatile, allows you to include custom TonePrints, but most of all is filled with some of the most sublime reverbs on the planet, then the TC Electronics T2 Reverb guitar effects pedal should be at the top of your shopping list. It is lightweight and compact, slotting into any pedalboard setup with ease, and has mono/stereo inputs and outputs for ultimate power.
