The TC Helicon VoiceLive Play has something for every vocalist ranging from beginner to professional, and anyone who wants to play around with a powerful vocal harmonics and effects unit.
Packed with 200 song and artist inspired presets, which are categorised with an easy to use interface, the TC Helicon VoiceLive Play lets you produce great vocals straight away, while the RoomSense feature uses internal mics to set the key for perfect harmonies. You can even hook up an MP3 and use the Vocal Cancel feature to sing along to your favourite tracks unhindered.
The Genre Button
The best way to start with the TC Helicon VoiceLive Play if you haven’t used an effects unit before is with the device’s easy to use GENRE button. This breaks down all the presets into easy to understand styles and song types (to get the sound of your favourite artist/song instantly). Just pick the style you want to sing and the VoiceLive Play will present you with a list of relevant preset choices for you to use straight away. If you can’t find what you’re looking for you can download even more presets from VoiceSupport, which is constantly updated.
Of course by utilising the onboard controls you can create your own presets and mark them as a favourite, to be activated on the fly.
The HIT Button
A great feature of the TC Helicon VoiceLive Play Effects Board is the HIT button, which allows you to instantly add effects to any preset quickly. Brilliant for adding extra emphasis when you need it this tool could, for example, add harmony to a simple reverb without scrolling through a load of menus.
Not only a performance tool the TC Helicon Voice Live Play also helps liven up practice and improve your singing, with Practice mode. This feature analyses your vocals in real-time to highlight both your weaknesses and your strengths, so you know what you need to work on and what you’re doing well.
In addition to this feature you can also hook the TC Helicon VoiceLive Play Pedal to your computer, via USB, to record and play your performance back.
