When playing electric guitar in conjunction with a selection of varying pedals, it can often be the case that, by having many on the go at once, you may lose the guitar's natural tones. Wampler have researched into this and this led to the design and development of the dB+ Boost / Buffer Pedal. It is incredibly important to have a good, clean boost and the dB+ pedal can ensure that you get one.
Despite having a very compact build, its robust chassis is given a very simple interface. It features only one main control dial for the Boost, a side switch for the Buffer to switch it on or off, and finally it has a true bypass footswitch.
You can use this micro pedal to enhance your guitar's entire sound output, even though it only has one control dial. The Boost knob can be turned up or down to suit your requirements and this not only increases the guitar's volume but it also brings the buffer in without it actually being switched on.
The buffer has its own on / off switch at the side of the pedal; when you run the dB+ pedal at the front of your pedalboard as advised, it can be switched off if you're using a crunch-type pedal which may clash with the Buffer, and then you can switch it back on when you need to.
The Wampler dB+ Boost / Buffer Pedal is there to provide you with a cleaner, better signal and sound output, and is more of a practical pedal than an effects pedal. It is easily powered just by a 9V power supply and can be engaged using the true bypass footswitch at the bottom. It has a small foot print and a versatile build, particularly as it has been expertly handcrafted in the USA.
