The Yamaha CVP-609 Digital Piano takes realism even further by including the extra, incidental nuances of an acoustic instrument. With the String Resonance feature the piano projects the mellow, resonating sound of other strings, while Key-Off samples produces the subtle sound of a damper touching a string.

On top of all this, with its 88-key Linear Graded Hammers, each key of the CVP-609 has its own weight, touch and return, to fully mirror that of an acoustic, so you don’t have to adjust your playing technique if you’re going to and from acoustic and digital instruments.

Keeping the Yamaha CVP609 Digital Piano’s pedal action as consistent as its keyboard Yamaha have implemented their GP Response Damper Pedal. This technology detects the amount of travel on the pedal and adjusts note elongation and reverberation accordingly. It also recreates the feeling of less resistance as you begin to press, going on to be heavier as the pedal takes effect.
