Designed in conjunction with Zak Starkey, the son of Ringo Starr and drummer for several bands such as Oasis, The Who, The Lightening Seeds and Johnny Marr.
Made from extremely high quality American Hickory, the Zildjian Zak Starkey Drumsticks are made to Zak’s exact specifications. He has chosen everything from shape to aesthetics and as such, these are a great quality set of sticks. A unique oval shaped wood tip is utilised to help increase control and dynamics during playing, great for complex patterns and runs. The full 16” length and 0.555 diameter make these sticks a good size without being too hefty, again great for dynamic playing, ranging from gentle cymbal touches to dramatic snare hits and fills.
The Zildjian Zak Starkey Drumsticks are adorned with Zak’s signature and the iconic roundel “target” logo, often associated with the mod movement and pop art.
